Thank you for your interest in our Veggie CSA. Here is how it works:
We are committed to using all organic agricultural practices to bring your family the best produce possible. We offer two different options for membership to the Veggie CSA, along with a half share option for those who can't do a weekly delivery. They vary to give our members the most flexibly possible, both financially as well as how long they wish to sign up for. If you don't see a plan that will work for you, please let us know and we will try to customize one to fit your needs. They are listed below, along with what to expect in your weekly delivery.
We are offering a Half share option this year. Instead of weekly deliveries, half share members will get deliveries every other week. It is for those who wish to participate in the CSA but believe the weekly deliveries will be too much.
Our Veggie CSA runs for two 4-month seasons:
The Spring season runs from the first week of March until the end of June.
The Fall season runs from the first week of September until the end of December.
This allows us to take off January, February, July and August. While we can grow during those months, the variety gets a little limited.
If necessary, our members can "skip" weeks during the season. Those weeks can be added to the end of their current plan, in either January or July. This allows members to still plan vacations or deal with emergency situations.
There is a one-time sign up fee to join our Veggie CSA. We grow for you specifically and there are several upfront costs that come into play when each new family signs up. The sign up fee helps cover all the initial investment, such as more seeds, planting supplies, bags and all other packaging needed in the deliveries. We also have to make adjustments to our delivery routes for each new member.
It is still possible to participate in the Veggie CSA for the whole 12-months of the year, but those members are approved on a case by case basis as our delivery route is limited during the 4 off months.
We can include eggs with your deliveries on a routine basis. Available upon request.

What to Expect
Weekly deliveries average 4 - 7 lbs. and contain about 6 - 8 different types of vegetables.
We also include any fresh fruits and herbs we grow throughout the year.
What types of vegetables included are dependent on what is grown seasonally during that time of year.
If you have any specific requests regarding what you do or do not want included in you deliveries, just let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Our main form of billing is through PayPal. Once we have confirmed which membership plan you want, we can send an invoice to your email. You can pay securely with a card or PayPal account. We also accept cash, checks and VENMO.
