Thank you for your interest in our Veggie CSA.  Here is how it works:

We are committed to using all organic agricultural practices to bring your family the best produce possible.  We offer several different options for membership to the Veggie CSA.  They vary to give our members the most flexibly possible, both financially as well as how long they wish to sign up for.  They are listed below, along with what to expect in your weekly delivery.

Our standard Veggie CSA plans run year round and you can start whenever the next available spot is open.  These work best for families who want to get the most cost effective options, as well as experience the full variety of veggies we grow throughout the year.

Our seasonal Veggie CSA plans run for two 4-month seasons each year:  

The Spring season runs from the first week of March until the end of June.

The Fall season runs from the first week of September until the end of December.

This allows us to take off January, February, July and August.  While we do grow during those months, the variety gets a little limited.

We are offering a Half share option this year.  Instead of weekly deliveries, half share members will get deliveries every other week.  It is for those who wish to participate in the CSA but believe the weekly deliveries will be too much.  This option will only be available for members participating in our seasonal plans.

If necessary, our members can "skip" weeks during the season. Those weeks can be added to the end of their current plan.  This allows members to still plan vacations or deal with emergency situations. 

 

There is a one-time sign up fee to join our Veggie CSA.  We grow for you specifically and there are several upfront costs that come into play when each new family signs up. The sign up fee helps cover all the initial investment, such as more seeds, planting supplies, bags and all other packaging needed in the deliveries.  We also have to make adjustments to our delivery routes for each new member.   

 

We can include eggs with your deliveries on a routine basis.  Available upon request.
